For the This I Believe Essay, I have a plethora ideas. Some examples are why it is important to find your passion in life to become the most successful being you can, why it is important to respect the homeless, why the preservation of childhood is important and the power of a smile. For my civic issues blog I want to look for a topic within education but my only idea within education is whether tenure is fair. My second idea is whether we should shift to buy more locally grown produce to save money and resources.
Last semester I was fairly happy with my blogging but I need to work on giving myself more time to write my passion blog because my topic is very involved. A lot of research goes into finding worldly current events, educating and interviewing students about them so I need to start working on my next blog after we have class and not wait until the next week. I also need to learn how to condense my posts so that my classmates will be interested in reading them. I will never forget the hours of research I did on ISIS, only to write a thoughtful blog with no comments. I plan on keeping my passion blog topic because I think although I am supposed to be educating others above all else I am educating myself and keeping myself up to date with current events.
